Effective date: August 12, 2026. This policy describes the functionality included in this website build.
Local Game Data
Planet Clicker stores game progress and settings in local browser storage. This can include Energy, upgrades, generators, planets, missions, achievements, statistics, Stardust, settings, and the last activity time used to calculate offline earnings. The data stays in the browser unless you choose to export and share it.
Exported Save Codes
The export tool converts local game state into a text code. You control where that code is copied or stored. Anyone with the code may be able to restore the represented game, so treat it as a personal backup even though it does not intentionally contain contact details.
Offline Storage
A service worker may cache core public files so the interface can reopen reliably. You can remove cached files and local progress through browser site-data controls. The in-game Reset Progress control deletes the game save after a typed confirmation.
Personal Information And Accounts
The game does not require an account, name, email address, payment, or precise location. This static build does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or third-party sign-in. A future deployed operator should update this policy before adding any service that changes those facts.
Your Choices
You may disable autosave, export a backup, reset progress, or clear site data in the browser. Disabling autosave does not prevent the browser from retaining an earlier save until you remove it.
Policy Updates
Material changes should be described on this page with a new effective date. Return to the Planet Clicker homepage or review the website terms.
